Focus Area: Industrial Policy
Dr. Leipziger has a strong track record on the issue of Industrial policy starting with his well known research on Korea's industrial policy legacy. His published work, including numerous books and articles, provided a balanced, yet analytical perspective on Korea's policies as well of others in the region. As a result, he is a recognized expert in the area and his work is often cited and his views often sought. He has lectured at the Korea Development Institute, Seoul National University, and Korea University; he was on the Board of the Korea Economic Institute; he has participated in numerous Asia-Pacific meetings and contributed to many volumes in the areas of economic policy.
